Symbols of Confirmation -
What are 3 symbols of Confirmation and how do they relate to myself?
Laying of the Hands -
The Laying of the Hands is when one gives the power of the Holy Spirit to a person being confirmed. It represents the healing touch of Jesus Christ and it is a way to show that you are praying for them.
This symbol relates to me when I pray for others at church. I pray for the my family, the sick, and everyone in the whole world. When doing that, I grant them my power of the Holy Spirit.

Sign of the Cross -
The Sign of the Cross describes that you have been received by God, in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. It symbolizes how Jesus died for us.
This symbol relates to when I am confident about my surroundings with people.
The Dove -
The Dove is the symbol of the Holy Spirit, It describes how Jesus was Baptized by John and how the Holy Spirit was descended on him in the form of a dove. It represents peace, gentleness, faith, and innocence.
This symbol relates to me whenever I make peace with my family and friends.
TELL THE WORLD -
What do I love to do and how will it connect to my leadership goal for this school year?
Everyone has their own special hobby they can connect to in leadership. What I love to do in my spare time is art.
Sculptures, drawings, paintings, and more creative things that all fall into that category. To me, when I'm alone in my bedroom having nothing to do, I create art. As the time seems to quickly roll by, it makes me feel like I'm in my own world.
I think this will help me with my leadership goal because I can teach others who want to be in their own world too. The little kids who want to be an artist can come to me and learn.
Letter and Response from God
~ Who is someone you admire, either in your life or in history, and what is the core virtue that you think they have followed?
In my life, a person who always demonstrates love and charity is my grandmother. Although she lives half way across the globe, I still admire her wise actions towards the world. I think she follows love because every time we talk on the phone, shes always telling me to love every single person I know. She also shows charity because she shares her food with other people in her neighborhood. Since most people at Philippines are poor, my grandmother sometimes gives food and money to people on the street.
~ What is one of your own virtues from the list and say a few words about how you try to live this virtue.
One of the virtues I try to live is gratitude. I can live this virtue by being thankful for what I have and nothing more. Some kids in other countries don't have food, water, shelter, and they can't go to school. Since I have all of those things, I am very appreciative.
~ What is a virtue that you would like to work on, to improve in your life?
One virtue I would like to work on is courage because sometimes I'm not brave to do something I don't want to do. I am too afraid to face what is to come. This year, I plan to face my fears and destroy them.
~ What are some ways you can show this virtue?
I can show this virtue by taking chances in life and think to myself that this is a once in a life time.
~ How can I help you be successful in doing this?
I can do this myself, but if I needed help you can have faith in me by being a good role model so you can show others (like myself) to do the right thing.

Catholic Graduate Expectations
How does each of the Catholic Graduate Expectations reflect on myself?
A person who is about to graduate has to be an individual Catholic, who has to endure many expectations to be successful in his or hers upcoming life. Just like myself and many others, we all have to exceed seven expectations for ourselves to be role models for others.
By training to be a graduate, I can relate AND embody each one...
A discerning believer formed in the Catholic faith community who celebrates the signs and sacred mysteries of God’s presence through word, sacrament, prayer, forgiveness, reflection and moral living;
1. I am a believer of Catholic faith when I go to church and pray for my sins to be forgiven. Whenever I take the bread and kneel, I think about God's presence, and forgiveness. I pray that my family and everyone in the world would be safe.
___________
An effective communicator who speaks, writes and listens honestly and sensitively, responding critically in light of gospel values;
2. To be honest, I think i am being an effective communicator as I speak. All of these posts I create are always contempt of the light of God. However according to my life, I would be considered (right off the bat) a shy person. To be honest, to certain people I may be like that, and to other people I would be more outgoing.
__________
A reflective, creative and holistic thinker who solves problems and makes responsible decisions with an informed moral conscience for the common good;
3. I am a reflective and holistic thinker when someone asks for help. When doing so, I try and do my best to help the ones in need.
__________
A self-directed, responsible, life-long learner who develops and demonstrates his/her God-given potential;
4. When I show the gifts given from God. Showing my full potential by taking all the life lessons from all the roadblocks that have occurred and demonstrating it to the world.
__________
A collaborative contributor who finds meaning, dignity and vocation in work which respects the rights of all and contributes to the common good;
5. When working in a group, I respect everyones opinions and their perspectives on the work. If I disagree, I don't yell or shout at them, I simply add someones to their opinion to make it so everyone agrees to the idea.
__________
A caring family member who attends to family, school, parish, and the wider community;
6. When I am obeying my older sister and my parents, I am a caring family member. By doing my homework, attending school, and going to church every Sunday to give thanks to God.
__________
A responsible citizen who gives witness to Catholic social teaching by promoting peace, justice and the sacredness of human life.
7. Lastly, I can promote peace, justice and the sacredness of human life by showing the joys of life to other people, so that they too will follow and find the serendipity to God.
By showing all of these expectations to everyone including God, I will we able to exceed these rules of a Catholic Graduate.
Reconciliation -
What is Reconciliation?
Reconciliation is a time for us to receive the opportunity to reflect on our lives when we have disobeyed God's rules. Everyone has disobeyed, but that's okay because God created all of us to have failures in life which we have learned on. Aside from all that, God will always love us.
Reconciliation and Confirmation have some similarities such as they both give us a fresh new start. They give us a chance to change our ways into becoming a better catholic person.
